Microcultivate

Sun City, Arizona · Home tissue culture lab

Rare tropical aroids, multiplied in a home lab.

Microcultivate produces tissue cultures of hard-to-find tropical aroids. Every plant starts clean, in vitro, from a small lab run by a self-taught specialist who cares about getting the genetics right.

About Microcultivate

How this lab came to be.

Microcultivate started as a personal obsession with rare aroids and a question: what if you could multiply them cleanly, at home, without relying on cuttings or chance? That question turned into a self-taught education in tissue culture technique and, eventually, a working home lab in Sun City, Arizona.

Every culture here is produced in vitro from vetted source material. The focus is narrow on purpose. A small lab means close attention to each variety, no shortcuts on sterile protocol, and plants that actually reflect the genetics you paid for.

If you have been searching for clean starts on varieties that are hard to source, this is the lab.
